It's 2010 World Cup Micro Footie style!
Come join this popular co-ed recreational soccer program that serves as an introduction and development to the sport of soccer, emphasizing team play and World Cup games!

This year we have chosen country teams from those who have qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.  Look for teams from Italy, Brasil, Portugal, Japan, England, New Zealand, South Africa and the Netherlands.  Also included are Spain, Germany, Mexico, Argentina, Algeria, Denmark, Korea Republic and Chile.

Remember, in Micro Footie we do not keep score.  We play on mini fields and the focus is to have fun and improve skills.  We encourage players to pursue the improvement of a skill: whether it’s shooting, tackling, saving, dribbling, running, or scoring.  By removing the necessity to win, players get into their own groove allowing development to be a natural by product.  Mind you, we’re not completely soft.  In early June after each team has played each other once during the course of the season we conclude the season with our own  World Cup Tournament (these last 2 Saturdays of the program are usually longer days with more than 1 game) where we do keep scores, — games are won, drawn, or lost — points are awarded—and prizes for the top team are given.
